The weekly event, Bazm-e-Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, takes place at the Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen and draws spiritual seekers from all over the country. They come to gain enlightenment and guidance from Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, the 31st spiritual leader of the Sarwari Qadri Order.
The Sarwari Qadri Order traces its lineage back to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and was passed on to Hazrat Ali (RA). This spiritual chain has continued through renowned saints such as Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA), Sultan Bahoo (RA), Sultan Asghar Ali (RA), and now, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen.
The event follows a structured format: Recitation of the Holy Quran, Salutations upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH),Moral Speech, Supplication (Dua) and Distribution of Langar
This event aims to cleanse the heart and soul, eliminate spiritual impurities, and guide participants toward the ultimate state of Faqr, the true essence of Islam. Faqr represents the journey to recognizing and connecting with Allah, a path that can only be navigated under the guidance of a perfect spiritual mentor (Murshid Kamil).
