(Lahore) On Monday, 18th August 2025, the devotees of the Sarwari Qadri order gathered at Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen to celebrate with great zeal and devotion the blessed birth of their revered spiritual leader and the Patron-in-Chief of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman. The Khanqah was adorned with lights and decorations, reflecting the joy and reverence of the disciples for this auspicious occasion.
The ceremony commenced in the afternoon and witnessed a large number of disciples, devotees, and admirers from across the country. The distinguished presence of the Vice Patron of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr, Sahibzada Sultan Mohammad Murtaza, along with members of the Majlis-e-Khulfa, added great grace and significance to the event. The entire atmosphere of the Khanqah was filled with an aura of love, gratitude, and spirituality as everyone gathered to express their devotion to Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen.
Special arrangements were made to accommodate the large number of participants. Separate seating areas were prepared for women disciples, ensuring that they could comfortably partake in the blessings of the gathering. The hallmark of Sufi traditions, Langar-e-Faqr, was arranged for all attendees. The humble yet blessed meal was served with immense respect and devotion, reminding everyone of the values of equality, generosity, and compassion that are the foundation of Sufism.
The highlight of the celebration was the cake-cutting ceremony in honor of the blessed birth of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. The disciples, filled with immense love, raised slogans of devotion, creating an environment of spiritual ecstasy. Joy and happiness were visible on every face as the devotees shared this blessed moment with one another. Following this, colorful fireworks lit up the sky, symbolizing the happiness and gratitude of the devotees upon being blessed with the spiritual guidance of their Murshid in this era of materialism and heedlessness.
Throughout the ceremony, speeches were delivered by disciples and members of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr, highlighting the noble mission of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. They spoke about his relentless efforts to spread the message of Faqr – the true heritage of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) – and his role in guiding seekers towards Divine closeness and gnosis of Allah. The audience listened attentively, their hearts filled with gratitude for the spiritual blessings they receive through the sacred companionship of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen.
The event reached its spiritual peak when a collective Dua was made. Prayers were offered for the prosperity of Islam, the spread of the teachings of Faqr throughout the world, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and for the health and long life of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. Tears of devotion and love could be seen in the eyes of many participants as they raised their hands in supplication.
The grand celebration concluded with an overwhelming sense of spiritual joy. The disciples left Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen with illuminated hearts, renewed commitment, and deeper love for their Murshid. This blessed occasion once again reminded everyone that the presence of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen is a Divine mercy for seekers of Truth, guiding them towards the path of inward purification and nearness to Allah Almighty.
