On Thursday, 14 August 2025, a blessed and spiritually uplifting gathering, Sohbat-e-Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, took place at the serene and spiritually vibrant environment of Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. The gathering was graced by the presence of the Patron-in-Chief of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr and the 31st Perfect Spiritual Guide of the Sarwari Qadri Order, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman.
The Sohbat-e-Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen is not merely a meeting; it is a Divine blessing that illuminates the hearts of the seekers with the remembrance of Allah. It is in such sacred company that the hearts are cleansed of worldly desires, the souls are nurtured towards the gnosis of Allah, and the seekers are guided to the true essence of Islam — Faqr (Sufism). In the blessed presence of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, disciples experienced moments of deep peace, love, and spiritual awakening. The fragrance of spirituality enveloped the Khanqah, creating an atmosphere where every breath became a remembrance of Allah.
Alongside the spiritual discourse, the day carried a special national significance — Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day. In honour of this momentous occasion, heartfelt discussions were held about the priceless blessing of freedom. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen and the attendees reflected on the sacrifices of the founding fathers and martyrs who dedicated their lives for an Islamic homeland. They expressed immense gratitude to Allah Almighty for granting Pakistan and prayed for its security, unity, and prosperity.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen highlighted the responsibility of every Pakistani to uphold the values of justice, peace, and morality, and to strive for a society that reflects the teachings of Islam in its true spirit. He emphasized that true independence is not merely the absence of foreign rule but the liberation of the soul from the shackles of materialism and sin — a freedom that is attained through the path of Faqr and obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
Participants shared their reflections on the current challenges faced by the nation and the role that moral and spiritual revival can play in addressing them. It was stressed that the strength of Pakistan lies not only in its resources but in the unity, faith, and dedication of its people. The gathering collectively prayed for the uplift of the Muslim Ummah, the success of Pakistan in all spheres, and the removal of difficulties facing the country.
The Sohbat concluded with special supplications — for the elevation of the spiritual ranks of all seekers, for peace across the globe, and for the stability and prosperity of Pakistan. The atmosphere of love, humility, and spiritual grace left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of those present. As the gathering dispersed, there was a renewed sense of both spiritual commitment and national pride, reminding everyone that serving the path of Allah and the mission of Islam is also a service to the homeland.
