The esteemed Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr and the Imam of the Sarwari Qadri spiritual order, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman, stayed at the revered Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen for a continuous and spiritually illuminating period of two months, covering June and July 2025.
This sacred stay was a rare and divine blessing for the devotees and seekers of the path of Faqr (Islamic Sufism). The presence of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen at the Khanqah transformed it into a spiritual center radiating immense blessings and guidance. During this period, countless disciples and visitors from all over the country and abroad had the honour of attending his blessed company (Sohbat), which is regarded in the teachings of Faqr as the most effective source of inner purification and spiritual elevation.
Throughout his stay, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen continued his mission of spreading the true essence of Islam — the path of Faqr — through his presence, teachings, and practical example. Daily spiritual discourses, sessions of Zikr (Divine remembrance), and personal meetings with disciples were held, through which the seekers experienced deep inner transformation, clarity of purpose, and a strengthened connection with Allah Almighty.
In this extended stay, many disciples were also blessed with spiritual permissions (Ijazat) and guidance directly from the Sultan of Faqr. The Khanqah witnessed a heightened atmosphere of devotion, discipline, humility, and love, traits that are central to the Sarwari Qadri path.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s commitment to nurturing his followers and guiding them on the path of Divine love is unparalleled. His entire life is a practical manifestation of the teachings of Sultan Bahoo (RA) and the earlier Sufi saints, where the focus is not on outward rituals but on purifying the soul and achieving closeness to Allah through the remembrance of His name — Ism-e-Allah Zaat.
After completing this spiritually fruitful retreat at the Khanqah, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen returned to Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen House on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. His return marks the continuation of his routine spiritual engagements and administrative responsibilities as the head of the Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr and the Sarwari Qadri order.
This blessed stay will remain etched in the hearts of the disciples as a golden period filled with mercy, enlightenment, and spiritual transformation. The impact of his teachings and presence during these two months will continue to resonate in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to witness it.
