Lahore — 20 March 2026: Among the most remarkable and spiritually profound events in the history of the Sarwari Qadri order is the fulfilment of a centuries-old prediction made by Sultan-ul-Tarikeen, Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Syed Mohammad Abdullah Shah Madni Jilani (Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh) — a prediction that was ultimately fulfilled by none other than Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman Madzillah ul Aqdas, the 31st and present spiritual guide of the Sarwari Qadri order.
The Prediction That Echoed Through History
During the lifetime of Sultan-ul-Tarikeen, one of his most devoted disciples expressed a heartfelt desire to construct a magnificent shrine over his grave after his death. Sultan-ul-Tarikeen refused permission and said words that would echo through the centuries:
“My shrine would be constructed by somebody who will be exactly like me.”
He further foretold that after his death, the city of Ahmadpur East would be destroyed and deserted — and that only after the city was reestablished would the construction of his shrine take place. Both of these predictions came to pass with extraordinary precision. Ahmadpur East was devastated by political chaos, floods and destruction in the years following his death in 1276 Hijri (1860 AD), exactly as he had foretold.
The First Partial Fulfilment
Years later, Sultan-ul-Tarikeen’s spiritual successor and heir of the Divine Trust of Faqr, Sultan-ul-Sabireen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Pir Mohammad Abdul Ghafoor Shah (Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh), began the initial construction of the shrine in 1327 Hijri (1909 AD) and completed it shortly before his own death in 1328 Hijri (1910 AD). The shrine was modeled upon the blessed architecture of the shrine of Sultan Bahoo and stood as a beautiful reflection of the Sarwari Qadri tradition. However, over the following decades the shrine suffered greatly — neglect, water damage, and disputes caused it to fall into a miserable state of disrepair. By 1999, the shrine and its mosque had been completely demolished due to water logging and erosion.
The Complete and Final Fulfilment
It was in this state of ruin that Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman Madzillah ul Aqdas first visited the sacred shrine in September 2011. He was deeply moved and distressed to witness the condition of such a great saint’s resting place. Driven by his profound love for the Sarwari Qadri spiritual guides and his unwavering commitment to preserving their sacred legacy, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen undertook the complete renovation of the shrine in May 2012.
Under his blessed supervision, four magnificent minarets were erected at the four corners of the shrine, painted and decorated with beautiful multicolored glazed tiles. Small ornate turrets were built between the minarets, the courtyard was fully tiled, and the sacred grave was crafted from fine marble. The renovation was completed on 30th August 2012 — and the shrine, in its completed form, stood as a true and glorious reflection of the shrine of Sultan Bahoo.
In this way, the ancient prediction of Sultan-ul-Tarikeen was fulfilled to its fullest and most perfect degree. The one who constructed his shrine was indeed “exactly like him” — a perfect Kamil Murshid, a carrier of the Divine Trust of Faqr, and a true spiritual heir of the Sarwari Qadri tradition.
The Resumption of Spiritual Beneficence
After completing the construction, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen held a grand death anniversary of Sultan-ul-Tarikeen at his shrine on 2nd September 2012. At the conclusion of this blessed gathering, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen humbly requested Sultan-ul-Tarikeen to resume his spiritual beneficence for the seekers of Allah — which had been withheld since 1942 AD due to the increasing worldliness among visitors. Sultan-ul-Tarikeen, deeply pleased with all that Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen had done, agreed — and declared that his spiritual beneficence would henceforth be specially reserved for the disciples of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen.
A Living Miracle of the Sarwari Qadri Order
This extraordinary chain of events — a prediction made over 160 years ago, fulfilled with breathtaking precision by a man described as being “exactly like” the one who made the prediction — stands as a living miracle and a shining testament to the unbroken spiritual power of the Sarwari Qadri order.
Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr invites all believers and seekers of Divine truth to reflect upon this remarkable event, and to seek the spiritual guidance of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen, Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman Madzillah ul Aqdas, whose blessed presence continues to illuminate the path of Faqr for seekers across the world.
