Laylatul Qadr — the Night — is described in the Holy Quran as a night greater than a thousand months. It is the most precious night in the entire Islamic calendar, a night in which the angels descend, mercy pours upon the earth, and the doors of divine forgiveness are opened wide for every sincere believer.
