Lahore – On Tuesday, 23 September 2025, a significant day unfolded at Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen as the Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr and Imam of the Sarwari Qadri Order, Sultan-ul-Faqr VII, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman, engaged in two important activities that reflected both his administrative vision and his spiritual leadership.
In the first part of the day, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen personally visited the construction site of the grand Masjid-e-Zahra, an architectural and spiritual landmark being developed under his guidance. He was accompanied by Amin of Majlis-e-Khulfa, Sultan Mohammad Abdullah Iqbal, and members of the construction committee. During the inspection, he carefully reviewed the progress of ongoing work, observed the quality of construction, and provided detailed instructions to the committee for further improvement and timely completion of the projects. His visit highlighted his deep concern for ensuring that the mosque is constructed as a place of excellence, both spiritually and structurally, where devotees may gather for worship and remembrance of Allah.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s guidance to the construction committee emphasized not only efficiency and quality but also sincerity of intention, reminding all that such projects are sacred trusts that must be carried out with devotion and responsibility. His directions served as motivation for the team, encouraging them to continue their efforts with renewed dedication.
Later in the day, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen met with his disciples and devotees at Khanqah Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. The blessed gathering was a source of immense spiritual grace. Disciples from near and far had gathered to seek his company and benefit from his words of wisdom. The meeting was marked by an atmosphere of love, humility, and spiritual elevation.
In his interaction with disciples, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen stressed upon the importance of steadfastness on the path of Faqr—the true spiritual heritage of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). He reminded them that the essence of Faqr lies in complete submission to Allah and love for His beloved Prophet, which is the ultimate goal of every seeker’s journey.
The disciples expressed heartfelt gratitude for their beloved spiritual guide’s attention, guidance, and constant efforts for their moral and spiritual uplift. Many described the opportunity of meeting Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen as a priceless blessing that strengthens their resolve and enhances their inner connection with Allah.
The day’s events reflected a balance of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s personality as both a visionary leader and a spiritual guide. His inspection of Masjid-e-Zahra’s construction symbolized his commitment to creating physical spaces of worship and remembrance, while his gathering with disciples demonstrated his mission of nurturing hearts with divine love and gnosis.
These combined efforts are a clear reflection of the mission of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr—to revive the true spirit of Islam through the path of Faqr, and to ensure that seekers are provided with both the physical facilities and spiritual guidance needed to progress on this sacred path.
